Wall Township is one of the larger districts in Monmouth County. Approximately 3400 students attend the seven schools, of whom approximately 550 are classified as special needs. Under 30 special needs students are sent out-of-district.
The annual budget is approximately $85 million, of which the local taxpayers raise approximately $70 million. Approximately $8.5 million is for Special Education . Per pupil cost is in excess of $20,000 annually.
